It’s funny how sometimes you get just what you need, just when you need it.

The internet, although it can be a place where I can waste a lot of time, is also amazing for sharing good things. The first thing I saw this week that was spot on was a saying that came across my Facebook feed. I can not tell you who posted it or who it should be accredited to but it was someone far wiser than me. It said:

Forget Everything And Run or Face Everything And Rise.

Think about this. Fear is what stops us from succeeding but conquering it is also what makes us successful.

I very quickly wrote this quote on my wall board vowing to pick the second option and Rise.

Then I started noticing other things on my Newsfeed, in my emails, though publications. Things like invitations to workshops, postings on things that were concerning me about my writing by famous and not so famous authors, invitations to join blog sites, inspiring quotes from celebrities, questions raised by author friends that I was also looking for the answer to, and the list goes on and on.

It has been so blatant this week I couldn’t ignore it. Not only did it give me lots to think about, but it inspired me to continue to work my plan.

My calendar this week has been jam packed with lots of commitments other than sitting and writing, but the inspiration I’ve received has helped me meet most of my weekly writing goals and it is only early on Friday morning as I write this. I may not have met my daily goals everyday, but the days I sat at the computer I met my daily count and more adding up to a successful week.

Here’s to an inspiring week to come!
