My 2nd novella is scheduled for publication at the end of this week. It is a Christmas theme story based on family traditions, and living your dream. It will be available on most eBook retailers including iBooks, Barns and Noble, and Kindle. It will also be loaded to Createspace, making a paper version available for those who would prefer. Exciting times!
Working with the cover artist, and choosing the Christmas picture starting me thinking about getting ready for Christmas. It is, after all, only a little over 5 weeks away. I dug through my craft stash and then spent last weekend making new wreaths for my front door and also for under the lights on my garage and front entrance, because you know, the ones from last year are not quite right for this year’s theme… All together there will be 7. Six for the lights and one for the door.
I won’t be hanging them out until the first of December, but I wanted to get them done so I will be ready, and leave time for more crafts. The swags for under the lights still need to have the pinecones added but that will only take a few minutes to complete. I’ll have another crafting day next Saturday and get them all finished up.
I have a love/dislike relationship with crafting sites. I love to look at them, but then I see all kinds of beautiful things and I want to make them all. I have a few ideas stored away for projects for Christmas presents, so if you are on my list…
I was looking for ideas for table centre pieces and I came across a picture of the cutest snowman. I took the idea and made it my own, recycling a vase that was collecting dust in my cupboard, added some ribbon and a top hat and voila! This will be the start of my centrepiece, which means I need to get back on those craft sites to come up with other ideas to fill out the scene.
